My Alaskan Adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my friends I just got back from Alaska and what a trip it was. Here let me show you a few things I did.

Man what a race. It got 40 below some nights. But those wool booties I knitted sure came in handy.





Just joking. But seriously I did get to meet Sarah Palin. I ran into her at the local grocery. I didn't realize she lived in Wasilla where my sister lived. Small world.

      The local bears were nice enough to let me take a picture with them . They must be used to tourists

     There were a lot of 1st's in Alaska besides the Iditarod and meeting Sarah I tried Sushi and Sake for the 1st time.

Note to self Sake Sucke's. Yuck. My nephew thought it was hilarious.



I loved being with my family. These handsome guys are my nephews. They actually wanted to hang out with their Aunt and play board games and watch movies.  I love them so.

                                                   We got some hot cocoa afterwards. Yummy!

JFK OBSSESION

We went to Dallas this weekend and had a good time. Well it looks like Aidan is not having a good time but that is Aidan and that is a different story.

                                         By the way Elijah told me this was the best day ever. I have never seen him so fascinated by something like this. It was like he was at DisneyWorld or something. I am sure Aidan wish it was DisneyWorld. Don't worry little brother one day you will be fascinated by something great.

Alaska or Bust!!!!!

I am going to Alaska! I am going to Alaska! Guess what? I am going to Alaska to see my sister!

Oh my gosh. I really cant believe I will be going to Alaska by myself in 2 1/2 weeks. Yes my friends my husband sucumed to buying my ticket to see my sissy who I havn't seen in a year folks. That and Daddy is leaving for Florida AGAIN when I get back.


 The last time I went to Alaska was 4 years ago. I was together with both my sisters.

Anyways this is my life right now. Baseball and Soccer, baseball and soccer. Living and eating out of the car, looking for balls, looking for gloves, looking for sanity!

Snow Crazy!!!!!!!!

           Okay people I am going a little crazy!!!!!!!!!!!Look what I am turning into!!!!!!

 Okay so that is not really a picture of me. But it is pretty close to how I am feeling Okay!  So here we are again. It is snowing and we are stuck in the house AGAIN!!           

Luckily Daddy is stuck here with us! Ha Ha Daddy no Florida for you this time! You are going to have to suck it up.

Sorry People I just had to vent a little bit. I am really a happy person and love my family dearly its true! We can make it through this storm again I know. So friends and loved ones if you have any helpful or encouraging thoughts or fun ideas let me know. The natives are getting restless and I can't hold them back much longer..........

On the other hand I do have a yummy roast in the crock pot I am looking forward too!!!!!!!!

Yes I know the show is over but I still like to shake my booty and get down to the music! Thats right I can be a mom and be a Fly Girl too!!!!!!!!

   

Okay so now that you have sunk that in here is another shocker

I am a Roofer. That's right! A Roofer and proud of it!!!

Lets just say I was born on the Roof. I learned from the best. My Papa!!!!

Okay so now that I have shocked you enough for the day. I am not the weanie you thought I was.

Day 6 and counting without Daddy!

Well friends I can't say it has been an easy week.


My little Aidan Cole has had a pretty rough week. First the flu, then when we thought we where in the clear a bad earache came and hurt my baby for 4 days. Today is better though Mommy!

Mama is so thankful that her little guy is feeling better because now Mama has the yucky! ( Sorry I can't show you my face because it is to yucky.)

Outside has the Yucky too!!!!!!!

So we are inside trying to stay away from the Yucky thanking God for his mercies and that Daddy will hopefully ( canceled flight today because of the Blizzard)be home soon.

Hmmmmmm I was just thinking didn't this happen last time Daddy was gone....lets check
